National Veterinary Research Institute Poland
Laboratory Facility
The National Veterinary Research Institute required a state-of-the-art research facility to support Poland’s growing responsibilities within the European Union and meet increasingly stringent veterinary and border control regulations.
The 15,000 m² development was constructed on the existing Institute campus and provides a modern laboratory environment incorporating CL2 (P2), CL3 (P3) and CL3+ containment laboratories.
The facility supports reference diagnostic testing and advanced research into major livestock diseases, strengthening the Institute’s role as Poland’s National Reference Laboratory. Specialist spaces include media preparation areas, RNA suites, mass spectrometry and HPLC laboratories, together with autoclave facilities and the mechanical and electrical services required to support scientific operations.
The completed facility provides a highly specialised research environment that enhances veterinary disease surveillance, food safety, scientific research, and compliance with national and European regulatory standards.
