Walter Lilly appointed Architon LLP to assist with the design of a single storey new build security lodge including a remodelled staff & visitor car park and external landscaping at MRC Harwell.

The new security lodge (175m²) that will replace the smaller existing security hut (33m²), includes a waiting/reception area for visitors, staff facilities and plant room.
Alongside the design team, we prepared a full Stage 3 package. Careful design of staff and visitor routes to and from site was considered as well as client security requirements.

The project is sustainably driven, aiming to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating and Net Zero.
