This agricultural building provides dedicated facilities for horses, sheep and lambing, with changing, lobby, preparation, feed store and support spaces. Facing brickwork, precast concrete copings and larch weatherboarding help the building complement the surrounding agricultural setting, while varied ventilated and non-ventilated cladding creates appropriate internal conditions.

Sheep housing includes flexible, reconfigurable penning for different group sizes, dedicated lambing areas, feed faces and drinkers. The layout allows mechanical cleaning by Bobcat, with large gated openings and gale breakers supporting livestock access and natural ventilation.

Equine accommodation is accessed through large steel doors, with each stall also benefiting from individual external stable-door access. Reinforced concrete internal walls provide durability for mechanical cleaning and forklift use.

The building uses twin steel portal frames with secondary steelwork supporting the wall cladding and roof. Insulated composite sinusoidal roof cladding with integrated rooflights provides a robust, energy-efficient solution in keeping with the adjacent agricultural buildings.
