Architon was appointed by Forest Research to revitalise its staff canteen at the Alice Holt campus in Farnham. The existing facility had become outdated and underutilised, prompting a comprehensive refurbishment aimed at creating a modern, welcoming space that better supports staff wellbeing and social interaction.
Working closely with stakeholders, the project introduced new catering facilities, improved layouts and bespoke furniture solutions designed to encourage greater use of the space. External works included upgrades to the terrace area, ensuring full accessibility and improving the connection between the building and its woodland surroundings.
Delivered on time and within budget, the completed scheme provides an attractive and functional environment that has been widely praised by staff and has significantly enhanced the campus experience.
